I haven't made a blog post in a while, but I just wanted to update y'all: with the release of Gizmote's Amazing Musical Adventure, I've now released 100 songs! Hooray!

However, if you check my profile, you'll see only 96 songs listed. That's because due to licensing issues, I can't release my four Minecraft remixes on Newgrounds. If you want to listen, you'll have to head over to my Bandcamp or YouTube!

Speaking of which, my last Newgrounds post was about the Minecraft:Volume Alpha Remixes album I organized and contributed two songs to. After that album's success, I helped organize community remixes of the Minecraft: Volume Beta! Over twenty artists spent a year remixing the 30 songs on the original album, plus the three C418 songs included in the Update Aquatic. The remixes span a wide range of electronic styles, as well as other genres including a cappella and orchestral. Community members aimed to transform the original songs while interfacing with C418's signature style. The result was released on November 9th, 2023, to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the release of Minecraft: Volume Beta!

I know I have like 3 Newgrounds followers, but I wanted to update you on what I've been working on: Minecraft: Volume Alpha Remixed!

I helped organize a remix of the first Minecraft album. We got 14 artists to remix all 24 tracks of the classic C418 soundtrack in a six-month-long process that I helped organize. And we're all proud to finally share the completed album. It's out on YouTube and Bandcamp, but we won't be uploading it anywhere else because of ownership issues.
